Wifi Issues on Chromebooks (No Internet Connection)
- Restart the Chromebook and see if internet connection is restored.
- To fully restart: Have students click their icon in the bottom right corner of their home screen to do this, first click "logout", then in the bottom left corner click "shutdown". Power back up.
- Click the status area, where your account picture appears.
- Click Settings About Chrome OS.
- In the "About" window that appears, click Check for and apply updates. Your Chromebook will start to install any available updates.
- After the updates are installed, click Restart to update.
- A "no internet connection" screen will flash for just a second prior to rebooting itself
